The 118th Congress & Senate will soon conclude at the end of 2024. The 119th will begin in January 2025 and the politicians will continue to perform their same actions, deceit and deliberate inactions on veteran-related bills.
I will not be collecting the data for the 119th Congress/Senate, instead I’ve made the decision that my obsession with the patterns presented and my hypothesis being confirmed, has come to its final effort by myself. I am satisfied that I’ve answered my suspicions/questions well enough to put it into book-form.
With my book be interesting?
Only if you are interested in finding out the facts.
Will my book be 100% source-able?
Yes, yes it will.
Will it be biased?
When I first began my pursuit for the truth, I was bitter and anger at the system and those who play their games to deceive us. Now…now I am thinking different, for a couple of reasons (some of which I will not mention here). Some of my reasons for rethinking my initial writing of this book:
1-I want this book to provide factual information about these politicians and their tactics.
2-If I were to write with emotion, just emotion, it would haze-over the information that people need to absorb and embrace.
3-My hope, now, is for people to pass this book onto their friends who are ‘too busy’ to actually follow the patterns (and claims) of their elected officials, to gain the actual truth.
4-Hoping this book will prompt people to set down their phones and begin to pay attention, especially to those who control actions and laws in their state/county/city, etc.

If the above information infuriates you, makes you want to dig into the statistics of YOUR political representative (regardless of party) to look at their track record, then congratulations on waking up! I mean that in the most respectful way possible.
Currently in the 118th Congress (I have yet to count up the senate bills for the 118th. I have the previous Senates from 113th onward to present) there are over 500 bills proposed. There are 2-3 bills awaiting Presidential signature to move it into LAW, but out of the 500+ bills, which bills made it into law thus far? The following will note specifics to date:
The first number is when it was proposed (i.e. 5th, 133rd, etc.), following will be the HR number, who proposed it and its subject:
17th-HR 366: Mark Takano D-CA- To treat those who served in Vietnam as a member of the Republic of Korea, as US military soldiers for healthcare.
33rd: HR 593-Earl Carter R-GA- name a bldg.
46th-HR 815: Cathy McMorris Rodgers R-WA- Making improvements related to emergency care in the community for veterans.
65th-HR 1226: Pete Aguilar D-CA-To allow electronic requests for certain records.
162nd-HR 3672: Name a bldg.
170th-HR 3476: Patrick McHenry R-NC: fiscal responsibility
In between these bills that advanced into LAW, are bills that could have saved veterans and their families, but instead are buried in committee. I will leave you with that, for now.
