As I am closing in on the conclusion of my data collecting for this current book attempt, I am getting less sleep than desired. So many things play a part in getting sleep, being tired is one of them (check), but shutting the brain off is another (blank).

No one is innocent in D.C., but some are more corrupt, more inept and more apt to leave citizens in the rain while they get richer. I am completely disappointed in what I am witnessing in the Congressional Committee on Veterans Affairs, and its members.

This book will be 100% fact-check-able. 100%. I will be very clear what is my take on the data, for each Congress, but ultimately, the sourcing will be there and any/everyone will have the information needed, to fact check what is in print. That’s why it is taking so long to get this together. It is a LOT of data, and I believe that is their big plan.

Just a short example: If these politicians flood the committee, which with all of these positions, is 2 year terms, so all of those bills have to be considered. No one seems to check on these committees, nor the bills that are continuously repeated (and repeated via multiple congresses), because the person proposing the bills change (sometimes).

Then new blood is brought into Congress, but perform the same actions as those soup-sandwiches who were in office previously. Propose multiple bills, but don’t fight for those bills.

I am finding so many bills that are the same bill, but proposed by different politicians, from different parties. Is it that one party wants the credit for the topic and make the other party appear like they don’t care about veterans? Is it because the VA donated to that politician to propose a specific bill….wait what? Oh, it’s not illegal for the VA to ‘donate’ to a politician, and I’m sure that politician would NOT admit that the donation received was for services rendered (or actions requested).

That doesn’t get politicians re-elected.

It wouldn’t take much effort to find the article that shows the VA can (and has) donated to specific politicians. It did occur within the past couple of years. Just saying.

We live in a dark world, but it becomes even darker when you realize those you put faith into, to help others within the community, has been only helping themselves…for a very long time.

It doesn’t seem right.
