Where does your representative fall?
Below will present each politician (every party) who proposed/sponsored bill(s) into Congress/Senate from the 113th to the 118th Congress/Senate. This will be a letter grade (A, B, C, D, F and Z). A would be the best grade to receive and although an ‘F’, as everyone knows, is for FAIL, with what I’ve seen, I’ve found it appropriate to add a ‘Z’ for GREAT FAIL. I felt it was deserving for some.
Criteria? I will take the number of years in office, the number of bills proposed (total, regardless of which Committee it was proposed into), the number of bills cosponsored (total, regardless which Committee it was proposed into), the number of proposed bills that advanced into law(s), the number of veteran-related bills that advanced into law(s), etc.
There’s been some politicians (from GOP & Democrat parties) who have impressive numbers overall and they will receive a grade that reflects what they’ve shown, while others will receive the grades they deserve for wasting the time of the Committee(s) and letting down constituents. Is it biased? Slightly, but I am working on trying to ensure the foundation is solidified before awarding grades. This way it is fair across the board.
Everything that is presented is public record and easily searchable, so Congress.gov is an appropriate sourcing noted for those who wish to fact check. This page is to trim the book a little, to provide what I feel is an appropriate grade for their time in office.
This page will be populated once the 118th concludes and all of the data collected is double-checked and organized.
